Dear friend of the free world,
In an era shaped by AI and geopolitical change, the integrity of information and the protection of personal data are becoming central to democracy.
Misinformation and disinformation are distorting public discourse, while questions around data control, platform responsibility, privacy, and digital sovereignty are rapidly moving to the forefront. These are no longer technical issues, but defining challenges for open societies.
Can we still have free speech in this new landscape?
This Washington, D.C. forum convenes leaders from law, technology, media, and civil society for a keynote and panel discussion focused on practical, multinational perspectives.
The discussion will also feature W Social, a new social media platform founded in Europe and built to strengthen trust in democracy and free speech worldwide, focused on strengthening information integrity, user verification, and data privacy, offering an alternative approach to today’s digital ecosystem.
Please note that members of the media will be present, and all discussions will be on the record.
